The Whole Health Life is the title of a new book by journalist and film maker Shannon Harvey, following the success of her feature documentary “The Connection” covering the physiological connection between healthy mind/healthy body. Along with the launch of her new book, TWHL wanted to brand their new content network under the same name.

The brief was to produce a brand that would transcend the diverse target audiences of anyone seeking to improve or maintain a healthy lifestyle in order to improve their quality of life, whether they are suffering from a chronic illness, or simply wanting to lead a healthy lifestyle. The project required a friendly, approachable yet factual and authoritative identity.

I undertook an extensive discovery and research process to explore the space and identify the competition.

Along with the branding process, I also produced concepts for the book cover – one of these was eventually selected and applied to both the hard cover and soft cover. I provided art direction, paper stock and print process guidance and produced the final artwork as well as design and UX guidance for the website.
